How to prepare

1.Sift approximately 2 grams of matcha (about 2 scoops with a chashaku) into a matcha bowl.
2.Gently pour 75ml of water heated to 80°C into the bowl and slowly whisk the matcha with a chasen, ensuring it disperses evenly at the bottom.
3.Whisk briskly, with a Japanese flick of the wrist until a fine, frothy foam forms on the surface.

The raw material for matcha, known as “tencha,” is made from young tea leaves that are shaded from sunlight for a certain period before harvest. By allowing the tencha to mature slowly over the summer, it develops a rich umami flavor. Experience the rich aroma and taste of matcha, which is finely ground using a traditional stone mill.
