Delivery and Returns
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you may request a return within 14 days after receiving your item.
To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition as when delivered—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required. To start a return, please contact us at online@ogata.com
. Items sent back without prior request will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
While we take the utmost care with our products, please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. In such cases, we will cover the return shipping (collect) and send you a replacement at our expense (prepaid). However, claims made more than one week after delivery cannot be accepted.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns or exchanges for the following:
- Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants)
- Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items)
- Personal care goods (such as beauty products)
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
We also do not accept returns for sale items or gift cards.
Please note that our service is intended for domestic deliveries within Japan. We cannot provide compensation or accept returns for any issues (damage, loss, or deterioration) that occur when using overseas forwarding services (e.g., Tenso.com, Shipito). In addition, we cannot accept returns or exchanges due to customer preference or convenience.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14-day cooling-off period
For merchandise shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, the item must be in the same condition as when delivered—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund is approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
