Armchair

The OGATA Chair collection brings Japanese aesthetic sensibility and the modernist tradition into quiet dialogue. The teak frame develops character with time; the fabric, woven in the texture of tatami, softens the structure. Two contrasting materials, one considered form.

The Armchair adapts naturally across the rhythms of daily life — at the dining table, through hours of desk work or study, or in moments of stillness. The adjustable back rotates freely, supporting the body whether seated upright in concentration or at ease.
